Originally from Long Island, New York, Tony & Mary Lou started visiting the area every winter over 25 years ago, and just 8 years ago they decided to become full time residents. Tony has always had a passion for ice cream and it only took one bite of Ice Cream & More's Working Cow ice cream for him to become a lifelong fan. So much so, that when he had the opportunity to purchase the Shop he jumped on it. He knew that the combination of his love for ice cream and the all natural, rich and creamy Working Cow brand, he couldn't go wrong.
Working Cow Homemade Ice Cream has been in the business of manufacturing super premium ice cream since 1993. Our business model for the last twenty years has been wholesale distribution to ice cream parlors, restaurants, retirement communities, local fairs, etc.
We are proud of the fact that we make our ice cream locally in Florida using Florida dairies, and ingredients grown here whenever possible. We are also proud of the fact that all of the dairy we use contains no artificial hormones or high fructose corn syrup. Our goal is and will always be to provide you with the freshest healthiest ice cream available.
